ABOUT THE EVENT

Donette Ambrosy

Donette Ambrosy is a sound therapist with a diploma in Integral Sound Healing from Sound Healing Academy. Through her South Minneapolis practice, Fine Tuning Sound Therapy, Donette offers customized 1:1 and couples sound therapy sessions. Combining science-based techniques with ancient healing traditions, Donette strives to help you activate your own innate ability to heal, receive messages from within, and nurture your mind, body, and spirit.

What to expect

The evening will begin with about a 10-15 minute welcome, introduction to the science of sound therapy, and Q&A.

I will then invite the group to get comfortable, set an intention, and settle into a brief guided meditation, transitioning into a therapeutic, meditative sound bath lasting around 35-40 minutes.

Attendees are invited to dress comfortably and to bring a yoga mat or meditation cushion, a small pillow or neck roll, and any other items for their comfort, such as a blanket, eye mask, etc. A limited number of weighted eye pillows will be available for sale for $5.

Theme

This is the ideal time to plant the seeds of love or financial gain, and put down roots that will bloom in the autumn. This sound bath is about "sowing seeds" for the upcoming summer - whether that be  metaphorical / energetic / the seeds of self-love, or literally planting seeds in the ground. This event is taking place on 5/5 at 5pm. Angel Number 5: 5 is about change and being active, and a 555 sequence shows up when big changes are coming.

More info

Sound therapy is a complementary alternative medicine that combines modern vibrational science (quantum physics) with ancient sound healing traditions, such as shamanic drumming and Tibetan singing bowl meditation.

The potential therapeutic benefits of sound therapy are profound. Almost universally, clients report a renewed sense of calm, reduced stress and deep relaxation, and very often a reduction of cyclical thinking or “stuck energy”. Some clients find they receive a “download” from their subconscious during a session that helps them solve a problem in their life. Others report release of physical pain and tension, improved sleep and concentration, or boosts in creativity and resilience. Studies confirm sound therapy can be helpful to those experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief…and may even help lower blood pressure.

Many of my clients report that they leave a session with renewed purpose, a clearer and calmer mind; and with repeated visits, an ability to retain these benefits over longer periods of time.
